From her resting spot she watches over things. Then at night…when everyone is sleeping…she moves about doing good deeds.
For example, when the little earth worm has crawled out on to the sidewalk and can’t find his way back to the soil. She will give him just the nudge he needs.
On those cold nights she gently whispers to the garden, “Don’t fret, spring will be here soon.”
She encourages the moths to make their rounds, thus pollinating the white flowers that light up the night garden.
