Happy Valentine’s Day Garden Goddess

Does your garden have a Garden Goddess? Well, mine does. You may be wondering who she is and what does she do. Just as the elves helped the shoemaker in the ancient legend, the Garden Goddess assists the gardener.

Garden Goddess

From her resting spot she watches over things. Then at night…when everyone is sleeping…she moves about doing good deeds.

For example, when the little earth worm has crawled out on to the sidewalk and can’t find his way back to the soil. She will give him just the nudge he needs.

On those cold nights she gently whispers to the garden, “Don’t fret, spring will be here soon.”

She encourages the moths to make their rounds, thus pollinating the white flowers that light up the night garden.

So as you see, she is very important and I wish her a very happy Valentine’s Day!
